Support to complete your assessment

We use experienced energy and carbon consultants to undertake our assessments and provide support to applicants. Our aim is to provide guidance throughout the process, and feedback on how you can improve.

If you need help to complete your application you can select our Assisted Certification service. Depending on your needs we can offer two levels of support:

• When we are clear that the support you need can be handled by an independent assessor, then we will allocate the assessor to you and provide a quotation for the work, inclusive of the assessment of your organisation against the Standard
• Alternatively, when the work you require needs a greater number of days than one of the assessors can provide we will suggest independent consultants that we believe are capable of undertaking the work. You can then make contact and obtain a quotation from them directly for the work. When this work is completed you may then seek assessment and certification from us.

Our assessors

Each assessor has a background of experience in consulting or managing energy and carbon reduction in large businesses or major public sector organisations, before becoming an assessor. Each is therefore able to understand the difficulties that may be experienced by applicants seeking certification to the Standard and is able to provide advice that is both practical and independent.
